INCISIONIRUPESTRI "Non Funziona n° 3"

Sanglisente potrebbe essere definito una fotografia sonora o meglio, un documentario senza immagini; si tratta infatti di registrazioni sul campo, al di fuori quindi di uno studio, col preciso intento di catturare suoni e paesaggi sonori.
L’editing è stato ridotto al minimo indispensabile per poter isolare i brani dalle numerose ore di registrazione; non è stato utilizzato alcun effetto o filtro.
Il Monte San Glisente, antichissimo luogo di culto, posto a 1956 metri di altezza, al margine più basso dell’omonima Colma, si alza sull’abitato di Berzo Inferiore (BS) da dove domina gran parte della Val Grigna. Luogo di insolita semplicità e bellezza, dimora di ancestrali paesaggi sonori.

Sanglisente could be defined a sound photo or better, a documentary without pictures. They are live recordings, outside of a studio with the specific aim to grasp sounds and sound landscapes. The tracks were edited by isolating them from many hours of recording. No filters or sound effects were used. San Glisente Mount is 1956 mt high, on the lowest edge of the San Glisente Colma, perched on the village of Berzo Inferiore and overlooking most of the Grigna Valley. It’s an ancient cultual place of unusual beauty and primitiveness, site of ancestral sound landscapes.
